Writer’s Workshop: we are currently exploring the parts of speech in our writing. These are nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions and prepositions. We will be learning about what these are and how we use in their writing.

Mathematics: we will spend time this week exploring fractions. We will begin by using physical objects to represent fractions. We will also look at how we can collect data.

Unit of Inquiry:

This term we are inquiring into our Where We Are in Place and Time unit of inquiry – with a focus on Places. We are starting our unit by ‘tuning in’ and exploring the significance of different places in a variety of provocation activities.
