Congratulations to Old Saint and SPC Sports Wall of Fame member, Alli Anderson.

Alli won the under-23 women's individual time trial national championship by a narrow margin of 1.82 seconds at the 2025 AusCycling Road National Championships in Perth.

The 21-year-old edged out 2023 junior individual time trial world champion and Lidl-Trek UCI WorldTour rider Felicity Wilson-Haffenden to don the national champion jersey.

Alli stopped the clock at 40 minutes and 54.9 seconds on the three-lap, 28.8-kilometre course and posted the best time at both every intermediate time checks.

"I really can’t believe I get to say I won the National Time Trial. So much work has gone into this and to say I left it all out there makes it all the more satisfying. I feel like we all constantly chase that perfect day and for me this was it, hopefully not the last. 0.3 seconds off the elite podium honestly pinch me.

To everyone involved thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Alli started riding in Alice Springs and when she lived here, she could be seen in the early mornings and afternoons training around the streets of Alice Springs. Persistence, dedication and a will to win and improve can only see Alli become a true leader in her sport. From everyone here at St Philip's, congratulations Alli and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you.
