WELCOME BACK
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back for 2025 and a special welcome to new students including our Year 7s.
Since we have returned to school, library staff have been busy with classes visiting the library and getting acquainted with the library space and resources.
I look forward to seeing all our familiar faces and new faces in the library!

LIBRARY INFORMATION FOR EAST CAMPUS
Books are available at East Campus for personal reading or wide reading;
The book collection is located on Level 2 at East Campus near the Student Managers' Office;
These books can be read and returned to the shelves when the student is finished;
The collection includes fiction books, nonfiction books and graphic novels;
New books are added to the collection throughout the year.
Book Returns:
Books are to be returned to the shelves when students have finished with them;
Reservations:
The books at McKinnon Road campus library are also available to students based at East Campus. Students may place reservations via the library catalogue. Library staff deliver to East Campus once per week;
Books that have been reserved must be put in the return box near the book collection;
Please contact library staff for assistance with reservations.
VICTORIAN PREMIER'S LITERARY AWARDS 2025
The shortlisted books for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards were announced in January. In the category of ‘Writing for Young Adults’ the following books were shortlisted:
Anomaly by Emma Lord
Liar’s Test by Ambelin Kwaymullina
Smoke and Mirrors by Barry Jonsberg
The winner will be announced in March.
