School Council

Dear Fellow Parents,

Last Monday at assembly, Natalie Hutchins and the candidate for Labor at this year's upcoming state election came to assembly. They kindly committed to having some works completed at the school should their party win the election.

It should be noted for clarity that schools, and school staff whilst at work, are apolitical. Whilst we appreciate the kind gesture, it does not suggest the school, its council or staff are in any way endorsing this candidate or party.

A request was made to the school for these people to attend our assembly which was granted as per Departmental policy. Should other candidates approach the school with a similar request, they too shall be granted equal access to assemblies or similar.

On behalf of the whole school council and school community, let me extend a hearty congratulations to Sally Wilson and her team for putting together yet another outstanding art show. The night went off without a hitch, the art work was incredible and the feel on the night was absolutely heartwarming.

Can I also congratulate all of the students for showcasing such amazing art work from prep right through to grade 6. The colours, the designs, the shape and texture of the art work shows just what talented artists they all are. It truly was a fantastic evening

Kind Regards,

Vince Scarfo
