Swinburne Tafe Tester Day

In Week 6 some of our Year 9 students attended Swinburne TAFE where they had the opportunity to learn about careers in carpentry and plumbing. They enthusiastically participated in workshops for each of these industries, which gave them the chance to develop relevant practical skills through the installation a residential water system and construction of a wooden phone holder. They also had a tour of the carpentry workshop where they observed apprentices completing their training.
