The year 7s have been exploring the world of Mystery powders. This involves giving students 6 known powders and asking them to conduct with a range of experiments. We then give these same powders back to them but mixed and they have to work which powder is in which container. They have enjoyed using acid and iodine for the first time this year. 

 

 

 

The year 8s finished off the rock cycle by making fossils and have now moved onto the topic of energy. 

 

 

The year 9s finished their last CAT and are now looking at food webs and biodiversity. 

 

The year 10 Science Investigation classes have completed their Dandenong Creek investigation which involved an excursion to the creek and water/habitat sampling. The year 10 mental processes and behaviour have been conducting a range of psychological experiments on human subjects. 

 

 

The year 10s and year 11s have been busy revising for upcoming exams.
