Djaaliny: Navigating the Social Media Ban

Gallery Image

Monday 17 November | 6.30pm | Centre for Performing Arts

Social media has become part of how young people connect, so what happens when it’s suddenly taken away?

With the Australian Government’s social media ban for under 16s coming into effect on 10 December, many families are wondering how this will shape their children’s friendships, wellbeing and daily lives.

Join us for a thoughtful and practical conversation with digital wellbeing expert Paris McNeil, as we explore how families can support children through this transition and find balance in a world that’s both online and offline.

Paris will unpack what the ban means in real terms, how to guide children with empathy and confidence, and ways to build healthy tech habits at home.

This interactive session includes a Q&A and an opportunity to speak with Paris afterwards.

Walk away feeling informed, reassured and ready to guide your child confidently through this shift in the digital world. Please note: this is a tailored session for parents only and children will not be admitted.

Tickets are complimentary for College parents.
