Autumn Fair 2026

Welcome to the Alice Springs Steiner School Autumn Fair!

Our Autumn Fair is one of the most loved traditions in our school community. Entirely created and run by our families, it’s a joyful day that brings us together while raising funds for new projects and resources that enrich our children’s learning.

In the coming weeks, you’ll receive a link to sign up for stall shifts, and your Class Stall Coordinators will be in touch with details about how you can get involved.

How You Can Get Involved Now

Preserve Making & Jar Collection

The term break is the perfect time to start making preserves for the fair.

We’re collecting clean, label-free jars and glass bottles for jams, chutneys, chai, lemonade (passata jars are ideal), and more. 

Please drop donations at the Volunteers Fair Table.

Recipes and tips are included below.

Craft Sessions

Regular craft sessions are already underway. Come along, get creative, and help make beautiful items for the fair.

Food Safety

With so many delicious homemade goodies at the fair, we encourage as many people as possible to complete this free, 30‑minute online food handling course: https://dofoodsafely.health.vic.gov.au/index.php/en/

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please reach out to your Class Coordinators or the Fair Volunteer Coordinators. 

Any Class 4 parent can also point you in the right direction.

The school holidays are a wonderful time to fill your pantry - and the fair - with homemade preserves.
