World Book Day

World Book Day is on April 23rd, we will celebrate by sharing our favourite books in class. Please encourage your child to bring their favourite book to school in Week 1 of Term 2. Please ensure books are named before being brought to school. Many thanks.

Book Club:

If you would still like to place an order for Issue 2, please do so by Friday 20th March. Online orders are easy and preferred, simply scan the QR code and follow the prompts. Please email me if your order is a gift/surprise so I can hang onto it and notify you when it arrives, rather than give it to your child.

Library Borrowing:

The students were super excited to begin borrowing last week, especially the preps! I hope your children have enjoyed sharing their books with you at home.

Please remind your child to bring a named library bag to school each week.

Borrowing Guidelines:

Prep students - 2 picture or non-fiction books
Yr 1/2 students - 2 picture, non-fiction or short chapter books
Yr 3/4 students - up to 3 books of choice
Yr 5/6 students - up to 3 books of choice

Books are exchanged weekly/fortnightly. Lengthy chapter books may be kept for longer.

Book Covering:

Assistance with book covering means new titles reach the shelves faster. Volunteers are always wolcome, contact will be supplied and this can be done at home. Please pop into the library on a Wednesday/Thursday or email me if you are able to assist.
