Science Day 2026

On Tuesday 18 August, our students celebrated Science Day with a fantastic day of hands-on learning and discovery! Students worked with their House Matters groups and rotated through three different science activities, giving everyone the opportunity to experiment, investigate and have plenty of fun along the way.

A huge well done to all students and staff involved in making the day such a success. A special mention must also go to the incredible effort that went into the Science Day costumes — there were some awesome, creative outfits on display!

House Athletics 2026 Carnival

On Tuesday 11 August, our Grade 3–6 students headed to Box Hill Athletics Track for our annual House Athletics Carnival. It was a fantastic day, with students having a wonderful time competing across a range of track and field events while earning points for their Houses.

A huge congratulations to Grevillea, who once again claimed the House Athletics Shield! Well done to all students for their fantastic effort, participation and sportsmanship throughout the day.

We now look forward to finding out which students will be selected to represent Donvale at the District Athletics Carnival in Week 9. Good luck to everyone hoping to make the squad!
