1BHenrik MarshallBraveryHenrik has been challenging himself each day, stepping outside of his comfort zone and approaching new situations with a positive and resilient mindset. I am so proud of the way he has come into the classroom ready to learn, showing confidence and a willingness to give things a go. 1COlivia BishopPerseveranceOlivia is being recognised for demonstrating incredible perseverance and determination when using her walker. Even when walking on the challenging grass surface, she kept pushing forward and always tried her very best. Her positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to keep going when things are difficult have been wonderful to see. We are so proud of the effort and determination she shows every day. Well done, Olivia, for being our Student of the Week!
2CJohn-Paul Carra Love of LearningJohn-Paul has been working incredibly hard and showing a real commitment to all class tasks. He has been listening carefully and focussing brilliantly on his learning. It has been so wonderful to see this positive effort, well done, John-Paul!
3AJacob FullerLove of LearningJacob consistently completes all tasks efficiently and to a high standard, demonstrating strong focus and care in his work. He actively participates in class discussions and shares his ideas with confidence. Jacob also shows kindness and thoughtfulness by offering support to his classmates when they need it. Jacob, you are a delight to have in 3A!
3AHattie BluntPerserveranceHattie has shown a fantastic commitment to her learning, particularly during our Matilda novel study, where she has been thoughtful and engaged in her work. She also demonstrates great persistence in Mathematics, working hard to persevere and build her understanding to complete tasks. Keep up the wonderful effort, Hattie!
3BPeter Saris Love of LearningPeter is recognised for his excellent teamwork and cooperation during Literacy group work on Matilda. Peter worked thoughtfully with his group, listening to others’ ideas and sharing his own in a respectful way. He showed great cooperation and helped his group stay focused and on task.
3BSienna PapadopoulosLove of LearningSienna is recognised for her positive attitude and strong teamwork during our Matilda Literacy activities. She worked cooperatively with her group, contributed great ideas, and supported others to stay focused and engaged. Fantastic effort, Sienna!
3CMaya GillespieLove of LearningDuring our persuasive writing unit, Maya has been following instructions carefully. She has used her single paragraph outline to effectively structure her ideas and included some great high modality words to support her argument that books are more powerful than screens. Well done Maya, I look forward to reading your completed piece!
4ASophie ManuellLove of LearningSophie shows a deep interest in History and a thoughtful understanding of why events in the past occurred. She confidently shares her knowledge with the class, enriching our learning with her insights and engaging stories.
4CLachlan SoiferKindnessLachlan consistently shows kindness by helping both his classmates and his teacher whenever it’s needed. He is always ready to make sure everyone feels included, going out of his way to support others. Lachlan is a genuine friend who makes our classroom a happier and more welcoming place. 5/6CCamilla HopeLeadershipCamilla demonstrated outstanding leadership during our camp to Canberra, asking meaningful questions, volunteering whenever needed and consistently supporting her peers. She is a highly valued member of the Year 6 cohort, always showing a positive attitude and a willingness to help others. Her positive contributions to our class and school community do not go unnoticed. Well done, Camilla!
5/6COdette GibbinsPerseveranceOdette has shown great perseverance in the classroom this term. She consistently tries her best and takes on feedback while asking clarifying questions to strengthen her understanding. Odette collaborates positively with her peers and is building confidence when responding to questions in class. She approaches each task with focus and determination. Well done, Odette! 
5/6EJakeirah HollidayCuriosityJakeirah was a fantastic participant on our Year Six Camp to Canberra. She demonstrated excellent listening at each activity and even volunteered during our visit to the National Electoral Education Centre. Jakeirah also demonstrated her gymnastic skills at the AIS. It was great to see her curious every step of the way!
5/6EJames DoyleLeadershipJames was a fantastic representative for our school on Canberra Camp. He respectfully thanked our presenters on behalf of our group, asked interesting questions, gave thoughtful answers and played the role of the ‘speaker’ in Parliament House in a very believable manner. Well done James!
