Grade 5/6 Melbourne Zoo Excursion

On Friday 31 July, the Grade 5 and 6 students went to the zoo. We started the day by getting into our groups and having a session where we looked at different animal bones and learned how animals have adapted to their environments.

We saw many different animals. One group got to see and feed the lemurs, while the other group saw and fed the meerkats. The meerkats were very cute and very hungry!

We also got to go into the butterfly house and see the giraffes. Some of the highlights of the day were spending time together, enjoying the bus ride and seeing the tigers and lions.
