Science Week

Our school celebrated Science Week with a fantastic lineup of hands-on activities, experiments and challenges, all centred around this year's theme, "Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All."
Throughout the week, students of all ages embraced the opportunity to explore, discover and have fun with science. Lunchtime activities included a Periodic Table Scavenger Hunt and a variety of engaging science experiments and challenges that sparked curiosity and encouraged students to think like scientists. Students in Grade 5 to Year 12 also tested their knowledge by participating in a Science Kahoot during Homeroom.
One of the week's highlights was Science Dress-Up Day, where students and staff showcased their creativity by dressing as scientists, scientific concepts and even elements from the Periodic Table. A gold coin donation was collected on the day, with funds supporting educational activities at our partner schools in Fiji.
Science Week was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, creativity and discovery, inspiring students to ask questions, investigate new ideas and deepen their understanding of the world around them. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the week such a fun and memorable celebration of science. We look forward to continuing to nurture a love of learning and scientific exploration throughout the year.
