Grade 3 & 4

Term 2- Week 10

It has been a busy and productive term in our learning community. The students have been working very hard on their Inquiry projects focused on Physical and Chemical Sciences. For many students, this has been their first experience completing an inquiry project. Throughout the inquiry process, children have learned how to follow procedures, investigate questions, and communicate their findings. They will present their findings to the class this week.

In Mathematics, we have been exploring data collection, representation and interpretation through a range of graphs. Some students have also been investigating 2D shapes, including regular and irregular polygons, and identifying and describing their features.

A group of students had the opportunity to represent our school at Hoop Time. It was a fun and exciting day of basketball, and our girls' team narrowly missed a place in the grand final, falling short only on percentage.

As the term comes to an end, we would like to congratulate everyone on their hard work and achievements. We are all looking forward to a well-deserved holiday break and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable time with family and friends.
