What’s Happening in the Arts for Term 3?

Hi All,

We hope your children had a wonderful holiday break and took the chance to be extra creative during this time!

Below is a brief breakdown of what our year levels are going to be involved in during Term 3:

F-2: Portrait Drawings, Clay Pieces, Paper Construction & Music Percussion Activities

Years 3 & 4: Learning the Ukulele, Music Research & a variety of individual, partner and group Mime Activities in Drama

Years 5 & 6: A Textiles Unit creating a Soft Felt Character Pillow (using different stitching techniques) & a Food Dye Silhouette Artwork.

Art Lunch Club will continue on Thursdays (weather permitting) run by our wonderful Arts Captains Sara & Saachi and our MPHPS ‘Rocky Heights’ Rock Band will continue rehearsing on Tuesday lunchtimes working towards our Recording Studio Day later in the term.
