Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist

We keep Madison Stewart, Jaxon Stewart and Joshua Bobby in our thoughts and prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist this Sunday.

This is a special step in their faith journey, shared with their families, our parish and the wider school community. We wish Madison, Jaxon and Joshua every blessing as they celebrate this important occasion and continue to grow in faith, guided by the Holy Spirit.

Scripture Reflection

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28 (NRSV Catholic Edition)

As we reach the end of a busy term, many of us may be feeling tired and ready for a break. In this Scripture, Jesus reminds us that we do not need to carry every worry or challenge on our own. We can turn to God and find comfort, strength and peace.

The holidays give us an opportunity to slow down, spend time with the people we love and take care of ourselves. True rest helps restore us so that we can return ready for the learning, relationships and opportunities of a new term.

Finishing the Term with Gratitude

As we reach the end of another busy term, it is a good opportunity to pause and be grateful for all that has filled our weeks—learning, friendships, challenges, celebrations and the many small moments of Strength and Kindliness shown across our school.

Throughout the term, our students have continued to grow not only in what they know, but in the way they care for one another, include others and contribute to our community. These everyday actions are an important expression of our Catholic identity and remind us that we are called to bring kindness, hope and compassion to those around us.

As families head into the holidays, we hope there is time to rest, reconnect and enjoy a slower pace. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term, refreshed and ready for all that lies ahead.
