Senior School Update
With Mr John Thompson
It’s been a really positive and productive term across the Senior School, and I’d like to thank our students and families for the consistent effort shown throughout Semester 1.
Our VCE students will have, largely, completed their Unit 3 studies and will be deep into Unit 4. This means it's time to start thinking more seriously about exams. The holidays are a great chance to get on top of revision. Going back over classwork, practising exam-style questions, and building good study routines will make a big difference heading into Term 3.
I’d also like to acknowledge the way students approached the GAT this term. It ran very smoothly, and we appreciate the preparation and support from both students and staff.
We’ve also seen great support for the Year 12 Sleepout and Winter Appeal again this year. Thank you to all families who contributed — it's always great to see our community getting behind something that helps others.
Our Year 10 students have been busy with course counselling as they start to map out their pathways into VCE and beyond. Many have also recently completed work experience (see pictures below), which is such a valuable opportunity to get a feel for different career options. Thanks to the local businesses and organisations that continue to support our students in this space.

Also, while discussing Year 10, we hope that Callum and Lucy are enjoying their service learning excursion in Samoa during this break. And again, thank you to the school community for raising approximately $750 to support the learning needs of All Saints Samoa students.
Looking ahead, our 2027 Year 7 intake is filling quickly, with over 50 enrolments already confirmed. There are only limited places remaining, so we encourage families who are still considering enrolment to get in touch sooner rather than later. Spread the word of this to anyone outside our great school community who might be considering enrolment for next year.
Thanks again to everyone for their efforts across the semester. We hope students and families enjoy a well-earned break and we look forward to a strong start to Term 3.
