Staff changes

We have a number of staff changes for Term Three. 

Ms Paige Milich will be on leave for the remainder of the 2025 school year and as a result we have made the following appointments to backfill Ms Milich's role:

• Ms Gia Doe has been appointed Year 8 Manager joining Mr Jarron Cole in this position
• Mr Andrew Ellery has been appointed to teach Science.  He joins us from Christian College but is a former Oberon High School teacher. 

End of Semester Reports

Families will receive a copy of their children’s report on the last day of term. This will be posted electronically via the school portal (Xuno student management tool) after 3.30pm on Friday 4th July.

Update on suspension and expulsion powers

You may be aware of recent changes announced to suspension and expulsion powers that will be available to Victorian principals from day one of Term 3 (Monday 21 July 2025).  In exceptional circumstances, principals of Victorian government schools will be able to suspend or expel students for behaviour that occurs outside of school grounds and/or hours including online, if it poses a significant danger to the safety and wellbeing of students or staff.

These powers apply only to serious incidents where there is a clear and close connection to the school and the behaviour of a student outside of school unreasonably impacts the safety and wellbeing of students or staff at school, and their ability to learn or work. 

Last day of term

The school term for students will conclude at 2.30pm Friday 4th July.  All buses have been alerted.

As this is the last newsletter prior to completing the last week of term, I would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing break.  After the two week holiday period, students will return to school on Monday 21st July.
