Year 9 Safety App

We were privileged to welcome Major Brendan Nottle of the Salvation Army to Academy last week.  Major Nottle met with one of our Synergy groups who were investigating safety of women in the city.  Students were keen to speak with Major Nottle because the Salvation Army have the "Pink Car" that  travels around the city and beyond, checking on the safety of women.   

Major Nottle was very impressed with our girs who had designed an app that women who felt unsafe could use.  He encouraged the girls in what they were doing and looked forward to working with them, as the safety of women is paramount to the Salvation Army and Academy.
