Well Done to Our Web Designers! - Hey everyone! Ever wondered how websites are made – or wanted to level up your web design skills? This term in May, some of our students took on that challenge by participating in Grok Academy’s Web.Comp 2025, which ran from 5 May to 1 June.
The competition offered two streams:
🌟 Beginners – perfect for those new to HTML and CSS
🌟 Intermediate – for students with some prior web design experience
We’re proud to say our students did a fantastic job! 🎉 Whether it was their first time coding a website or they were building on existing skills, they showed creativity, persistence and problem-solving throughout the competition.
A special congratulations to Monika Tudorovic and Trinity Liang-Cardenas for achieving a Perfect Score in Web.Comp (Beginners)! 🏅 What an outstanding achievement!

DNA Meets Design
What do science and fashion have in common? More than you think! Our creative Year 10 students from classes 10A and 10C have been hard at work transforming their unique DNA sequences into one-of-a-kind beaded keychain designs — and the results are absolutely stunning!
🧵 Each student selected a section of their own DNA and used colourful beads to represent the genetic code. The outcome? A dazzling collection of keychains that are as scientifically accurate as they are stylish.
