Bunnings Visit

Bunning Epsom Visit
Last Thursday June 5th, Abbey and Liz from the Epsom Bunnings came to visit us, bringing a range of winter vegetable seedlings to plant in our vegetable garden. They also brought a number of small drought and frost tolerant shrubs to plant in our existing garden beds. We talked about what vegetables grow in winter, how to plant seedling and how to take care of them. We also talked a bit about Australian native plants and why planting frost and drought tolerant plants at school was important.
Thanks again to Bunnings in Epsom for their generosity in providing the vegetable seedlings, 25 shrubs, garden tools, collapsable composting bins and crafty items to the school free of charge! Thanks also to Liz and Abbey for coming to share their knowledge and expertise.
