Pond News Flash!

We have some very exciting news about our Native Dwarf Galaxias fish…they have had babies! We have seen quite a few and estimate we may have around 50. Foundation D were very good at spotting them. They are becoming expert bird and fish spotters!

Dwarf Galaxais is an endangered species and is a protected species in Victoria. We are lucky to be able to keep and breed this species.

The pond ecosystem is thriving, with abundant aquatic plant growth, clear water indicating good water quality, and a diverse range of insects and invertebrates establishing habitats within it.
