All of 1K - For their incredible effort and teamwork in presenting at assembly. Each student created thoughtful reflections about their own 'smartness' and showed wonderful confidence reading on the microphone in front of the whole school. Even though there were some nerves, everyone spoke clearly, supported one another and did a truly fantastic job. What an amazing effort — we are so proud of you all!

Oscar O'Reilly - What wonderful focus and creativity you displayed during our recent fractions task. You worked carefully to make your pizza and confidently explained the fractions of each topping used. Congratulations Oscar on your great mathematical thinking you are a star!!

Harriet Berndt - For your fantastic story writing! You wrote a beautiful narrative full of exciting details, and you even added a clever moral at the end - just like a real author! You always try your best, show a happy attitude and set a wonderful example for everyone in our class. We love how kind, thoughtful and hardworking you are. Finn Bee - Finn, you always bring energy, spark and humour to our classroom, making learning as exciting as the mountain biking trail. Lately, you’ve been showing just how much you can achieve when you focus, tackling challenges head-on like a rider powering up a steep hill. Your improvement is clear, especially in how you bounce back in from MacqLit and dive straight into catching up on anything you’ve missed. It’s wonderful to see you applying yourself and making real progress. Keep up the great work, Finn.

Marlon King Barradas - Marlon, you are one of the friendliest and funniest members of 5B! Your sense of humour and quick wit always have everyone laughing, and your cheerful attitude makes our classroom such a happy place to be. You’re also a seriously talented artist, your drawings are so full of creativity and detail that they could easily hang in an art gallery! Charlie C-H, Orlando E - For showing incredible creativity and problem-solving skills during the Egg Drop Challenge. Charlie and Orlando, you used your materials wisely, designing a structure that not only protected your egg but also stood the test of time—and gravity! Your thoughtful planning and careful execution led to a successful design that impressed everyone.

Phoebe Molan - For consistently bringing joy and positivity to our classroom each and every day. Your cheerful attitude and enthusiasm for learning brightens everyone’s day. I love how you approach every task with a smile and a genuinely strive to do your best and improve! Well done, legend!

Zach Smith - Your ability to take on feedback to improve has been amazing over the last couple of weeks. It has been great to see you make some changes to help with your learning. Well done Zach, keep it up for a strong finish to Grade 5!

Josh Cosma - Your curiosity has shone in your Lit Circles meetings on ‘The Phoenix Files’. Your thoughtful ideas have made the discussions so much richer! I’m excited to see what you contribute over the rest of the term and all the amazing things you’ll achieve in your final term of primary school. Keep up the fantastic work, Josh. Josh Schilling - So much improvement and so determined. I'm not Joshing around when I tell you that this student is Schilling it! Josh, you have improved in your Maths so much and your novel studies work has been terrific!

Amelie Sharp -A 51% improvement from pre-test to post-test makes this student as sharp as they come. Absolutely Amelie-zing.

Riley McAleer - Riley, you approach your learning with determination and focus, never shying away from a challenge, especially in Maths, where your persistence continues to lead to real progress and success. You combine hard work and perseverance with a great sense of humour and a positive attitude that lifts those around you. Sadie Nelson - Sadie, your quiet strength and steady dedication never go unnoticed.
