Our Thoughts are with the Castleman Family
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Karlie Castleman, the mother of Annie and Zelda (SC1), passed away unexpectedly over the weekend.
Our thoughts are with Sam, Annie and Zelda and their extended family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
We know our school community will join us in keeping the Castleman family in your thoughts and respecting their privacy during this difficult time.

Transition from Kinder to Prep
Our Pre-Schooler Program has been running successfully at both campuses early in term 4 for many years and provides an excellent opportunity for students to become familiar and comfortable with the primary school environment.
The Pre-Schooler Program for 2026 started last week and it was lovely to host an excited, although slightly nervous, cohort of kinder kids (and parents) at both campuses. The children were remarkably settled, and no doubt will feel more comfortable and confident in the school environment as the program continues.
Grade 2 Sleepover
Good luck to all of the grade 2 students and staff who have their sleepover coming up on Thursday 22nd October. The event is always lots of fun and the kids enjoy the novelty of hanging out with others in their year level for an extended period and spending the night at school. A big thank you to a committed group of parents who are taking part and helping the kids feel safe and secure.
Parent Surveys
A big thank you to everyone that completed a survey. In the end we had 68 responses, which is not too bad. We appreciate you taking the time and look forward to getting the results back later in the term.
Start Dates for 2027
We know that some of you will already be planning summer holidays and will be keen to know school start dates for 2027.
- Teachers are officially back at work on Wednesday, January 27
- All students start back on Friday, January 29
For those planning a little further ahead:
- Term 1 ends Thursday, March 25
- Term 2 starts Monday April 12
