Belonging Beyond School
What happens after school finishes?
Year 10–12 students with a disability and their parents, carers and families are invited to Belonging Beyond School – a free information evening exploring opportunities for connection, friendship, faith, community participation and support beyond the school years.
Meet representatives from agencies of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, including Personal Advocacy Service, Catholic Youth Ministry, Catholic Family and Justice Support Services and Identitywa, to ask questions and discover programs, communities and supports available to help young people continue to grow, participate and belong after school.

Become a Foster Carer
Foster Care Information Session – Tuesday 25 August
The Department of Communities is hosting a Foster Care Information Session on Tuesday, 25 August, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Byford Secondary College.
Foster carers play a vital role in providing safe, stable homes for children who cannot live with their families, and this session is a great opportunity to learn more about becoming a foster carer.

Byford Bushrangers - Have a Go Day
Have a Go Day is a fantastic opportunity for children aged 2–12 years to come along, try teeball in a fun and relaxed environment, meet new friends and see what our club is all about. No experience is needed, and all equipment is provided.

Help Families Manage Education Costs with Saver Plus
Saver Plus is a free financial education and matched savings program that helps eligible parents and carers develop lifelong money management skills while saving for education-related expenses. Participants who complete the program can receive up to $500 in matched savings to put towards essential school costs such as uniforms, books, stationery, technology, camps, and other learning-related expenses.
Parent Program
ACAP Clinic - Free Mental Health and Counselling Services
The ACAP Clinics provide safe, accessible and evidence‑based support in an inclusive environment. Their services welcome people from all backgrounds, abilities, cultures, language groups and gender identities.
Services include:
- Individual, face‑to‑face counselling (all ages)
- Support with stress management, lifestyle concerns, relationship issues, adjustment to life changes, social or isolation challenges
- Group programs such as:
- Art for Happiness
- Building Self‑Compassion
- International Student Wellbeing Group
- Mindfulness Group
- Social Anxiety Group
- Psychometric Testing
- And more
