The Year to Date

Kilvonians at the The Walsh Club Luncheon, March 2024

Kilvonian happenings

The 2024 program of events and activities for Kilvonians commenced earlier this year with The Walsh Club Luncheon at The Glasshouse, Caulfield. The Walsh Club is made up of past students who have left Kilvington 50 or more years ago.

We also held the 40&45 Year Reunion and the 30&35 Year Reunion for the relevant cohorts in the Kilvington Sport Centre. There were many smiles and tales being told as past students reminisced about their days at Kilvington.

The Alumni Walking Club continued to meet each month at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve to enjoy some light exercise and lots of conversation in the company of fellow Kilvonians. A list of all Walking Club dates for the remainder of the year can be found on the 'Upcoming Events' page.

The Committee ran an incredibly successful trial of the Alumni Choir during Term 2, so successful in fact it will continue for the remainder of 2024. More details can also be found on the 'Upcoming Events' page.

Planning is also underway for the annual all-peer Kilvonian Konnections event on Thursday 24 October, so please save this date in your diaries.

Special thanks to our Kilvonian Alumni Committee for driving the program of events and activities for our past students - Sarah Lim (President, Class of 2003), Rachel Cetrola (Class of 2018), Ann Cleghorn (Class of 1977), Mitchell Cole (Class of 2019), George Crossingham (Class of 2017), Sarah McSwiney (Class of 1999), Ellie Pietsch (Class of 1999), Elisabeth Yeo (Class of 2019) and Peter Yu (Class of 2017).

Join the Alumni Committee

The Kilvonian Alumni Committee is seeking new members to help build a community of former students who enjoy and contribute to Kilvington’s rich culture of connection, relationships and care.

The Committee meets approximately five times a year to discuss and plan events and initiatives to expand and engage the Kilvington Alumni network, and represent the interests of alumni to the School.

If you would like to join the Committee or to find out more, please email Community Relations Officer, Bianca Lapins, via lapinsb@kilvington.vic.edu.au.
