Tennis Lessons at FPS
Tennis lessons will be held on Thursday mornings before school at FPS. The term three program commences Thursday 23 July, from 8:15 – 8:45am.
Enrolment forms can be collected at the office or downloaded below.
Alphington Community Battery Launch!
It's official – after years of planning and community collaboration, the Alphington Community Battery is ready to power up!
- When: Saturday 27 June, from 10:30am – 1pm
- Where: Alphington Farmers Market, 2 Wingrove Street, Alphington
- Cost: It's free and family-friendly — everyone is welcome!

Four-Day Pop-Up Collection Event
Join us for our next FOUR day Pop-Up Collection Event at Alphington Community Centre.
- When: Sunday 5 July – Wednesday 8 July 10:00am – 2:00pm daily
- Where: 2 Kelvin Rd, Melbourne Victoria 3078
We are collecting:
- Stationery (please check our accepted items list carefully)
- Reusable shopping bags
- Gift bags
- Balls of wool (untangled, please)
- Christmas gift bags and wrapping paper
- Wrapping paper and ribbon in good condition
Reusable keep cups with lids
We can't accept:
- Folders of ANY kind
- Files of ANY kind
- Document wallets of ANY kind
- Used exercise books, notepads or notebooks of ANY kind (new, unused exercise books are welcome.)
Help us keep useful resources in circulation and out of landfill while supporting local schools, kinders and community groups.

Darebin Basketball – New Programs Offered
Registration for Darebin Basketball term three beginner and development program are now open.
Additionally, the club have added two new programs – Abilities Hoops (for Physical, social and intellectual challenges) and Girls Only: Domestic Development.
These programs are a great way for young interested basketballers to improve, no matter what level they are.

Parkside Netball Club – NetSetGo Program
NetSetGo is an introductory netball program for all children, aged 5 – 10 years, with a focus on basic skills and having fun.
- When: Fridays 4 – 4.45pm, in term three (7 July – 11 September)
- Where: Fairfield Primary School, on the blue sports court
- Cost: $99, includes a t-shirt, fidget spinner and size 4 netball
- Register via Netball Connect. For new members you’ll need to create an account with Netball Connect to register your player.

Parkside Netball Club – Looking for U13 Players for Season 2 (Terms 3&4)!
Parkside Netball Club teams play in the Darebin Netball Association competition on Saturday mornings. With the start of the new season the club are specifically looking for players for a new 13&Under team (born 2013 or 2014 (2015 if in Y6)).
Limited netball experience is expected and okay! Your enthusiasm is what we want to see.
If you are interested in joining a different age group please fill in our player inquiry form as we have some vacancies in other age groups as well!
- Game day information: Saturdays 8:50 – 10:30am start times (13&Under), 40 minute matches,
