End of term Room pack ups

Each term the College has the expectation that all rooms will be left clean and tidy with no dirty clothes, linen and food items left. All shelves to be packed away and clothes to be hung and in drawers. This allows for thorough spring cleans by our cleaning staff. All bathroom items are to be packed away for the same reason.

This term break, all bathrooms in Linto will be getting a makeover so it is very important that Year 11 girls have everything packed away as it will get very dusty. We also have Guitarstrophe! , a secondary education school camp that is a Guitar orchestra staying in Moyle and Morton rooms the first weekend and week of the holidays. This camp allows for us to bring in extra funds for our student activities and is a great way to ensure our facilities are well used.  Parents have permission to take their cars to the rooms this Friday if their student is going to Country Week.

Weekend Activities

It has been disappointing to see little take up in some of the weekend activities that have been organised for our students.

Earlier this year we surveyed all students on the type of activities students would like to attend if they stayed in on the weekend. We listened and planned accordingly ensuring costs were kept down and students requests added.

We have had WAFL games in Perth, Wave Rock visit and BBQ, Restaurants in Perth but unfortunately no one is putting their names down. Please discuss with you child the importance of getting out on the weekend and exploring options other than Northam shopping trips. The Residential staff put a lot of time and effort into keeping students happy and busy and would love to explore more on the weekends.
