Year 7 Volleyball

Congratulations to our Year 7 girls' and mixed volleyball teams for their outstanding performances at the Wyndham tournament held on Wednesday, 26 February, at Eagle Stadium. The competition was fierce, with 12 schools in the girls' pool and 11 schools in the boys' pool. 

Despite having limited time to prepare, our selected students dedicated numerous hours practicing during their recess and lunch breaks in the lead-up to the event. Their commitment and determination were truly impressive!

On the day of the tournament, both teams rose to the occasion with remarkable courage as they played their first competition. The girls finished an impressive 2nd overall, and the mixed team placed 6th!

“Well done to the Year 7 girls' volleyball team! You demonstrated great sportsmanship, encouraging each other and adapting to the challenges of each match. Win or lose, you remained focused and positive. You should all be incredibly proud of your hard work and for representing Brinbeal Secondary College so well.”
