Student of the Month

As part of our acknowledgement of students who are representing our College Values, we will be presenting Student of the Month awards to students we believe have best represented the values during each month.

7A- Noelani Asiata

"Noelani is incredibly respectful and accepting of her peers. Noelani will go out of her to way to assist other students in class when she sees them struggling with classwork and is a leader within her class. Noelani works consistently and is an active and respectful member of the class."

7B- Kimtai Lopokoyit

"Kimtai has shown great leadership in Humanities. In group settings he has taken on additional responsibility of ensuring everyone in his team is on track with the tasks (without being told to do this). He always contributes to class discussions and shows a positive attitude."

 

7C- Valora Paulo

"Valora has been a great support to her classmates. She is constantly making others feel good about themselves and celebrating other's achievements in PE. She is always putting her hand up in class and sharing her ideas and opinions."

7D- Jarius James

"Jarius is a very kind and respectful member of his class. He is always a cheerful presence in class and make others feel accepted. Jarius is an outstandingly supportive member of the classroom. He is always positive and shows great integrity when completing tasks."       

                       

7E- Prisha Svirastava

"Prisha is a leader within her class with the way she carries herself and respects students, staff and their focus on learning. Prisha is a respectful student who always tries her best in class. She is always active in class discussions and is able to remain focussed throughout any distraction. Prisha eagerly challenges herself by learning and using new Chinese vocabulary beyond the lesson requirements."

7F- Haragam Singh

"Haragam always displays respectful behaviour in class to the teachers and to his friends. He listens to instructions very well and he is very polite."

7G- Daiwik Raju Sibbal Vinuthan Raju

"Daiwik is always extremely attentive in class, contributing to class discussions and completing his work to a high standard. He is often willing to share his work with others and is consistently checking with the teacher on how to extend his work. He sets a positive example to his peers." 

 

7H- Menara Samarakoon Godawita 

"Menara is someone who always strives to achieve her best and supports her peers. She always puts her hand up to share her ideas and opinions. Menara is always engaged  in class and active in class discussions, happy to share here opinions with others and uses her manners and is very respectful at all times."

 

7I- Shay Young

"Shay is a quiet achiever. He applies the school values to a high standard. He shares his thinking in English and focuses on his learning. He is able to work with a range of students in the classroom. Shay focuses on his learning and completes his work to the best of his ability on a consistent basis."

 

7J- Emily Cannon

"Emily has excellent classwork and contributions to both health and PE, Emily is always striving to achieve her very best and encourages her peers to do the same."

7K- Reya Patel

"Reya, consistently shares her ideas with the class. She stays on task and is willing to work with anyone within the classroom. Reya is always focused and supports her friends to do the same. She applied for SRC, while unsuccessful, she showed resilience. She applies the school values to a high level."

8A- Claire Briones

"Claire is very respectful towards her teachers and peers, hard working, and actively helping whoever she could in Maths with difficult problems."

 

8B- Salina Syoum Amanuel

"Salina consistently listens attentively, shows respect by using polite greetings and follows class expectations."

8C- Alyssa Ahmad Firdaus

"Alyssa has been a diligent and active student, going the extra mile to participate in all classes and assist the MG teacher during morning briefings and language classes."

8D- Vaakya Devagalla

"Vaakya consistently represents the college values of achievement and aspiration, completing her work to a high standard and contributing positively to the class environment in both English and Humanities. She shows great enthusiasm in completing her work properly and sets a positive example for her peers."

8E- Elim Gemeda

"Elim constantly shows all of our school values. She is respectful to staff and students, tries her best both in PE and in the classroom, contributes to class discussions and supports others when they need help. She is always be the first to clean up a mess without being asked."

 

8F- Jenna Elshomouny

"Jenna is a respectful member of our class. She gets involved in all class discussions and completes her work to a high standard.

8G- Sudeshna Rajak

"Sudeshna displays positive and respectful behaviour, supports her peers, encourages inclusivity, actively listens, and fosters a collaborative learning environment."

8H- Norah Dunn

"Norah has adjusted well to her new school this year. She has been putting in her best effort in PE and is always happy to share her ideas in Health. She is a great role model to other students and continues to challenge herself each lesson."

8I- Pardeep Gill

"As a former school captain, Pardeep continued to demonstrate her personal growth, hard working on a daily basis, very respectful towards everyone in her class and her unconditional positive regard to students who need extra support."
