2025 Year 12
Final Assembly

2025 Year 12
Final Assembly
On Tuesday, 21 October, the St John's community gathered in the Bro Leo Scollen Stadium for the 2025 Year 12 Final Assembly — a momentous occasion marking not just the end of the school year but a significant milestone in the journey of our graduating students.
This assembly was a heartfelt farewell, honouring the achievements, spirit and leadership of the Class of 2025. Students were recognised for their contributions to College life through a series of prestigious awards, including the Stella Pins for exceptional effort and dedication.

A highlight of the morning was the symbolic handover of leadership, as our 2025 College Captains and Faith & Mission Captains passed on their blazers to the 2026 leaders. This gesture represented the trust and responsibility now carried by the incoming student leaders, who will guide our community with courage and heart.
The College Choir added to the celebration with a moving performance of “You Are The Music In Me”, and Rikki Barnes led the assembly in a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, creating a moment of unity and pride.

The assembly concluded with a Guard of Honour formed by staff and Year 7 students as the Year 12s recessed from the hall — a moment filled with pride and emotion. The celebrations continued with a BBQ lunch shared with family and friends, marking a fitting farewell to their time at St John’s.
