WESTERN METRO ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Four Oberon students proudly represented our school at the Western Metro Athletics Championships held at Moonee Valley Athletics Track. Congratulations to Amelia Matheson (Year 7), Billie-Jack Thomson (Year 10), Ella Sommerville (Year 11) and Noah Berry (Year 11) for qualifying at this level and displaying outstanding sportsmanship and effort across their events. 

The results were as follows...

• Amelia Matheson placed 4th in the 12–13 Girls Discus.
• Billie-Jack Thomson achieved 3rd place in both the Triple Jump and High Jump (16 Boys).
• Ella Sommerville placed 3rd in both the 100m and 200m (17 Girls).

• Noah Berry had an exceptional day, placing 2nd in the 100m, 200m, 800m and 1500m AWD events, and finishing 1st in the Shot Put.

   

Well done to all four students for their fantastic achievements and for representing Oberon with pride.
