Mr Munyard's Commissioning Service
We had the privilege to celebrate and officially commission our Principal, Mr Stephan Munyard at our whole school worship service.
It was a wonderful time to acknowledge God's hand upon the school as we reflected on the history, and look forward to what the future holds. It was lovely to have so many guests from other Christian schools and Mr Munyard's family join us for this special occasion.
Whole School Cross Country
Our Whole School Cross Country was a fantastic success! We were blessed with beautiful weather, great people, and outstanding students from Prep right through to Year 12. The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with encouragement, determination, laughter, and school spirit. A special mention must go to our incredible Year 6 helpers, who did a wonderful job supporting the Prep to Year 2 students.
Our Primary School students ran their little hearts and legs out! It was fantastic to see students cheering one another on, supporting classmates who were tired, and celebrating each other’s efforts. The encouragement and teamwork on display was just as impressive as the running itself.
The Secondary students also represented the school brilliantly, showing resilience, perseverance, and excellent sportsmanship throughout their races. Many students challenged themselves to keep going when things became difficult and should be commended for their effort and attitude.
A huge encouragement must also go to Mr Munyard, Mrs Johnson, Mrs Haddad, Mr North, and Mr Green for not only encouraging students with their words, but for getting out there and running alongside them. It was wonderful for students to see staff leading by example and showing that actions often speak louder than words. Moments like these help build school culture, connection, and a willingness for students to have a go themselves.
Thank you to all staff, students, helpers, and families who contributed to making the day such a positive and memorable event. It was a wonderful celebration of participation, perseverance, encouragement, and community.
Library News
Thank you to everyone who supported our recent Scholastic Book Fair. It was wonderful seeing the students and their families purchasing books to love. $700 was raised throughout the week which will be put to good use in our Library.
We are looking forward to hosting the ELC4, Preps and 1/2 classes in the Library on Wednesday 27th of May for the NSS (National Simultaneous Storytime), where we will join with many other schools and libraries around Australia to read the book ‘Luna Roo – The Kangaroo Baller’ by Adam Jackson.
From Script to Stage!
The incredible team of staff, students, and volunteers have been working hard as they prepare to take us on a magical musical journey.
We are very excited for this year's production of Hans Christian Andersen JR. We really hope our College community will be brought together for a wonderful experience.
