The String Soirée on 24 March was a fantastic way to launch our 2026 performance calendar. The evening delivered a beautiful and engaging program, showcasing the depth of talent within our string program.

We were treated to outstanding solo and duet performances from Daniel Feng, Daisy Fang, Wendy Zhu, Brianna Tan, Zachary Haidar, and Adam Wong, followed by impressive ensemble performances from the JMSS String Quartet and the ever-popular Catalyst Strings. Each item reflected the hard work, dedication, and musical growth of our students, and the audience was thoroughly captivated throughout the evening.

A huge congratulations to all performers for their commitment and excellent musicianship, and a sincere thank you to our wonderful string teachers, Ms Yuhka Nagai and Mr Daniel Beng, for their guidance and leadership. It has been a strong and inspiring start to the year for the JMSS Music Program.

The Music Department wishes all of our wonderful students a restful and well-deserved break, and we look forward to another exciting term of music-making ahead.
