Stage Band Concert with Mckinnon Secondary College
Our three stage bands will be performing Saturday 28th June 2pm at Frankston High School with Mckinnon Secondary College Senior Stage Band. This will be our Junior Stage Band’s first performance and a great opportunity to hear our Senior and Intermediate Stage Band perform since their very successful performance at the Generations in Jazz Festival in South Australia. Navy Band Visit
The Royal Australian Navy Band will be performing and running workshops with all our Concert Band and Choir students on Friday June 20th after recess in the PAT. This is the second year we’ve been lucky enough to put on this event and it is a great opportunity for our students to see and meet professional musicians performing Concert Band Music on their instruments.
VCE Soiree
Congratulations to our VCE music students who performed their solo works for us last week. The standard of all the students performing was fantastic. Congratulations to Isaac Bakker and Peta Laughlin for all the work they do and for putting on such an enjoyable event.
ANZAC Day
Congratulations to Izel Briones for performing the Last Post for Frankston RSL. It takes a lot of courage and hard work to perform the Last Post all by yourself even for professional musicians. Well done also to Andrew McAdam for his role in supporting Izel’s wonderful work.
