Warinj Learning Update
We have had such a fantastic term together! It has been so lovely to see the children grow in confidence and become increasingly engaged in many aspects of our program. We are incredibly proud of the learning, friendships and achievements that have taken place throughout the term.
Following the children's strong interest in cars and vehicles, we have explored a range of process art experiences over the past few weeks, particularly painting and drawing with toy vehicles. The children loved manipulating the cars and experimenting with different materials and movements to create unique and creative artworks. The children have also thoroughly enjoyed our pretend play experiences, especially the picnic area and veterinary clinic. It has been wonderful to see rich conversations, imaginative play, turn-taking and collaboration that emerged as children worked together and interacted with one another.
Outdoors, there has been lots of learning, exploration and experimentation through sensory play. The mud kitchen has been especially popular, with children mixing citric acid, baking soda, water and other materials. It has sparked lots of curiosity and inspired imaginative potion-making ideas!
Our last day of term was filled with so much fun and excitement. We dressed up in our cosy pyjamas and joined the Muk Muk group for a special movie and popcorn party to celebrate the end of a wonderful term together.
We wish everyone a safe, relaxing and enjoyable holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you all again in term 3!
