OSHClub News

Week 10

What a fantastic way to finish off the term! It has been a busy and exciting final week of our Taste Trek theme, filled with delicious food, creative projects, and plenty of fun with friends. We would like to thank all of our families for their ongoing support throughout the term and for being part of our OSHClub community.

Our Breakfast Club menu kept everyone fueled and ready for the day with yoghurt cones, pancakes, fruit juice, waffles, and homemade chocolate pudding. In the afternoons, our Snack Squad served up a variety of tasty options including pho noodle soup, sushi bowls, chicken and vegetable noodles, pasta bolognaise, and a special party food celebration to finish the term with a bang!

The kitchen was a very busy place as we wrapped up our Taste Trek adventures. Children enjoyed decorating cookies, baking colourful funfetti cupcakes, making crunchy honey joys, and creating delicious roasted marshmallow s’mores. These hands-on cooking experiences gave children opportunities to develop confidence, creativity, and new skills while exploring different foods.

Our creative experiences were just as exciting, with children participating in cardboard creations, origami challenges, LEGO and magnet building, drawing competitions, and lots of painting. It was wonderful to see so much imagination, problem-solving, and teamwork on display throughout the week.

Children also stayed active with a range of physical activities including basketball, dodgeball, tennis, group games, mini golf, and air hockey. These activities encouraged participation, teamwork, and lots of laughter as we celebrated the final days of the term together.

We can't wait to welcome many of you to our Holiday Program and look forward to seeing everyone again next term. From all of us at OSHClub, we wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable break!

Accessing After hours

For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Enrolling Your Child

For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/

A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.

Bookings

Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.

If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.

Cancellation of Bookings

IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.

We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.

As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!

Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
