We had a bit of a problem with our Pedestrian Crossing recently. Quite often, the two poles in the middle of the crossing 'island' were removed overnight and left to block people's access. After replacing them a few times, it became clear I needed a better solution.

Shane and his trusty bolts solved the problem, and if the poles ever need to be removed for genuine reasons, the bolts can be unscrewed.

Leo is our resident builder - he is an excellent builder and a truly remarkable human being.

I first met him when he came in with LIFE Church to do some volunteer projects. Since then, he has built a raised walkway to our dance stage, built our Bush School Classroom and built a superb verandah for our Sensory Room - Room 30. 

In the middle of these projects - and others - Leo does voluntary work for us as well. The latest example is painting the deck railings that he built during the LIFE project day.

They look great.
