Loose Parts:

Our Loose Parts programme is pretty awesome. We have all manner of 'loose parts' -  strange, unusual and everyday items - for the children to use when they engage with Creative Play. Often this happens at lunchtimes.

Below are a couple of examples.

Pay It Forward Project - Rooms 17 and 29

Wow, thank you, Western Heights Primary and rooms 17 and 29, for your incredible effort and such a gorgeous photo!  

Please tell the children that we serve a hot meal every day at Haeata, our community dining room.  We have around 300 people every day of the year (including Christmas day and public holidays) who come in for a hot, nutritious meal.

We also have families and people coming to pick up food boxes most days of the week.  Often our clients are working but can’t afford food after all the bills.  It looks like all the items in your photo will be really useful and go into food parcels for families in need.
