Spotlight on Lucas Chen:

Dear Western Heights School

We are so excited to share some great news about Lucas Chen’s (Room 18) recent success in Skiing - a journey that has been incredibly exciting for our family.

What makes this particularly special is that Lucas has only been skiing for seven months. His rapid progress has been driven entirely by his immense passion and dedication to the sport.

We are especially proud to mention that in 2025, Lucas had the honour of representing

Western Heights School at the Auckland Primary & Intermediate Champs and School

Challenger Cup. As one of the youngest competitors in the Years 3-4 category, he performed exceptionally well, earning:

- 2nd Place in School Challenger Cup#1

- 3rd Place  in School Challenger Cup#2

- 4th Place  in School Challenger Cup#3
