Ren heads to Kenya for World Championships!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of Ren Kim, who is about to take an exciting step onto the world stage in Taekwondo.

Ren has been training in Taekwondo for around 10 years, steadily building skill, confidence, and determination. All this hard work has led to an impressive milestone: earning a 4th Dan black belt.

Earlier this year, Ren competed strongly and convincingly won the Under 21 World Selections Competition—the event that decides who will represent Australia at the World Championships.

Ren will soon be heading to Nairobi, Kenya, where the competition kicks off on December 3, bringing together some of the strongest martial artists from around the world.

Ren trains at Convergence Combat Sports in Oakleigh East, and all of Ren’s teachers, peers, and our whole school community are cheering them on as they take on this incredible opportunity.

 Congratulations, Alice !

Alice shone at the 2025 Junior World Championships in Manila, delivering beautiful tumbling and standout skills on the world stage. This incredible milestone in her journey was made even sweeter as her performance helped secure Australia a team spot for the next Junior Worlds — an amazing achievement for her and the country!
