Student Achievement

Congratulations to Year 10 student Zaphi Irvine-Wieland on the recent announcement that her story, Bottom of Chongqing was shortlisted in the national Dymocks Beyond Words Creative Writing Competition.
Zaphi, a talented writer and artist, stood out among nearly 4,000 entries from students across Australia, with only 8 stories from secondary students shortlisted, 1 runner-up, and 1 winner. What an achievement!
The competition celebrates creativity, originality, and storytelling craft, and Zaphi’s work shone in all these areas. Her story impressed judges with its imagination, emotional depth, and strong command of language. Well done, Zaphi!
