Festival of the Bands - Tuesday 25 August
Thank you to everyone who joined us on 25 August at Carlingford High School for the Festival of Bands 2026. It was a fantastic celebration of music, showcasing the talent and hard work of students from Carlingford High and Roselea Public School.
Congratulations to our Band Director, Ms Jacinta, and all our amazing students for their outstanding performances. Each band played beautifully and brought wonderful energy to the evening.
We also extend our thanks to the Carlingford High music staff and students for their support, to everyone involved in organising the event, and to our dedicated band parents for running the FOB raffle and helping out throughout the night. Thank you to the generous event sponsors and families who donated prizes for the raffle—your contributions made the night even more special.
Northern Sydney Youth Orchestra - Congratulations Indie and Samaira
Congratulations to Indie (Year 4) and Samaira B (ex Roselea band member) for their fantastic achievement with the Northern Sydney Youth Orchestra, who were crowned State Band Champion in the Open Youth Category B in August. They performed brilliantly and excelled in every piece.
If you are interested in a band opportunity beyond school—or after leaving Roselea—NSYO is a wonderful option for young musicians.

- Thursday 15 October - Epping District Music Festival: At Chatswood Concourse 7pm. Concert Band will be performing. Parents are welcome to attend - tickets can be purchased at https://AUCENTURY.sales.ticketsearch.com/sales/salesevent/167220. Performing students do not need a ticket.
- Sunday 8 November - Hornsby North Band Festival **Please note date change**: All bands will be participating.
- Wednesday 11 November - Remembrance Day assembly at RPS: Concert Band will be performing.
Friday 27 November - Roselea Carols Under the Stars: Night time event. All bands will be performing.
Roselea Band Committee
