Year 6 Debating
On Monday, our Year 6 debating team competed in their final debate of the year, taking on Cherrybrook Public School in the regional finals of the Premier's Debating Challenge.
Although the result did not go our way, reaching the regional finals is a fantastic achievement and something the team should be extremely proud of. Throughout the competition, our students have shown excellent teamwork, confidence, preparation and an impressive ability to think on their feet and respond to challenging arguments.
We are very proud of the way the team represented Roselea Public School throughout the competition. Their commitment and growth across the debating season have been outstanding.
A huge congratulations to our Year 6 debaters on making it all the way to the regional finals and on a fantastic debating season!

Student Achievement - Amy L
Amy L from 5/6L competed at the Australian International Dance Competition on 23 August and achieved first place in both the K-Pop and Hip-Hop categories for 12-14 years. We are very proud of Amy for all the hard work and dedication that she has shown towards her dancing. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement Amy!
Kindergarten 2027
Just a reminder that it is that time of year again where we begin our orientation process for Kindergarten 2027. We have a number for enrolments already, however there may be some existing families who have a child starting Kindergarten next year who have not submitted their enrolment. With Kindergarten Interviews with the Principal beginning shortly, we encourage you to submit your enrolment as soon as possible. These interviews provide a wonderful opportunity for families to share more about their child and ask any questions about starting school. To help ensure a smooth and confident transition, we also invite all prospective families to our ‘Is Your Child Ready for Kindergarten?’ information evening, being held on 8 September at 6pm. This session will cover helpful tips, expectations, and ways you can support your child’s journey on their first year of school. We look forward to welcoming existing and new families to this event!
