Lit Quiz

Our annual Kids’ Lit Quiz was our most successful yet! As the event has become an eagerly anticipated part of our Book Week celebrations, our students are becoming increasingly invested in reading the books that rotate through our classrooms - determined to make sure no question goes unanswered.

This year, we saw an exciting first for our school, with several teams achieving a perfect 10/10 in individual rounds! It was wonderful to see our students’ enthusiasm for reading, their impressive recall and the friendly competitive spirit they brought to the quiz.

A huge thank you to Mrs Middleton for the many hours of preparation and organisation that go into making this event such a success. Her dedication helps foster a genuine love of reading across our school.

The competition was INCREDIBLY close. Congratulations to our placing teams:

1st Place:    ‘Comp Crushers’      42 points        Vivienne, Oliver, Tallon & Elijah.

2nd Place:   ‘Chicken Nuggets’    41.5 points    Urban, Lois, Darcy & Maddie.

3rd Place:    ‘The Oakleys’           40 points       Roch, Kyani & Colton
