From the Principal's Desk

Welcome to Week 6! What an incredibly vibrant day we have had celebrating our love of reading. The creativity on display at today's Book Parade was truly spectacular—thank you to all the parents, carers, and staff who helped bring so many wonderful characters to life. The excitement continued with our Book Fair, and it was fantastic to see our students showcasing their impressive literary knowledge during the Lit Quiz. Thank you to everyone who made today such a memorable celebration of literature!

Exceptional Academic Achievement

NAPLAN results were released this term, providing valuable data alongside our PAT and internal testing to guide our academic focus moving forward. I am incredibly proud to report some outstanding milestones for our school in the Numeracy tests:

• Year 3: Topped the Wagga Diocese! This is the first time All Saints’ has topped the diocese in a NAPLAN test.
• Year 5: Placed an impressive 5th in the Diocese.

This is a fantastic validation of the hard work and dedication of our teaching team and Mrs Middleton.

Our community continues to thrive both spiritually and socially:

Six students from All Saints’ are working hard on Thursday mornings to prepare for their Confirmation in early November. We extend a sincere thank you to Father Perry for guiding their preparation.

Those six students and Mrs Barclay will soon join student representatives from across the diocese at St Joseph’s Wagga and St Michael’s Cathedral. This is a wonderful opportunity to encounter Jesus, feel empowered as hope-filled disciples, and celebrate the Church in our Diocese.

Thank you to everyone who supplied items and volunteered their time to run the stall. A special thank you to our Year 6 students and Mrs McIntyre for their fantastic help!

Sean McCallum has been subcontracted as our grounds and maintenance man until at least the end of the year. He is currently working five hours a fortnight, which will increase for specific projects, including the construction of our new greenhouse in the coming weeks.

Annie Ewart-Goulding has resigned from her Inclusive Diverse Learning Teacher (IDLT) role. We thank Annie for her outstanding efforts and are pleased she will continue with us casually. Jessica Anderson has taken over the IDLT role and will also cover Jane Wailes' two days per week on Stage 3 until the end of the term. Mrs Wailes has returned half a day per week on a Tuesday and will release Mrs Anderson. Mrs Middleton is also on leave until the end of the term. 

I would like to thank the staff of All Saints’ for their hard work this term. With the school play on the horizon, the book fair and everything else in between. It is an incredibly busy term, and they continue to go above and beyond.
