College life in pictures
Welcome Families BBQ | 15 February
Thank you to all families, staff and students that were able to join us, and share a bite to eat with us, at the Welcome Families BBQ on Thursday 15 February. We look forward to many more opportunities to gather as a College community throughout the year.
Year 4 gets planting
Year 4 students have been busy in our student gardens, planting herbs, leeks, sweet peas and alyssums and learning how these seedlings will grow into tasty fresh produce to be used in Murphy's Café.
Hot lunch on the menu
The second instalment of our school lunch program kicked off last week, with students in Year 2 enjoying a catered hot lunch courtesy of the Murphy's Café team, with culinary support provided by the College's Certificate II in Cookery students. Congratulations to all involved in this wonderful initiative.
Art Club is open
Art Club/Open Studio is off and running at the College, with Senior School students enjoying the opportunity to express and develop their creativity as they experiment with painting, drawing and sculpting with clay. The club meets daily at lunchtime in the Art rooms and all students in Years 9-12 are welcome to attend.
Check mate!
Students in Years 4-6 have been learning the fine art of chess with trainer Anya from the Black Square Chess Institute.
