Year 3-6 swimming carnival
Our Year 3-6 swimming carnival was held on Tuesday 13 February at the Clarence Aquatic Centre. Congratulations to all our students on their participation. It was an absolute delight to see so many students contributing valuable points to their Houses, demonstrating house spirit, amazing comradery and having fun.
Thank you to Mel Pritchard and all staff for helping on the day – your hard work was truly valued and acknowledged.
Congratulations to our overall House winner, College, the recipient of the Barbara Edwards Shield for 2024, and to Presentation for again winning the Spirit award—their cheering was outstanding for the entire duration of the carnival.

Junior School sports rosters | Term 1
Round two of our JSSATIS tennis and soccer rosters will take place this week. Good luck to all teams participating and as always, a huge thank you to those parents who have given up their time to take charge of a team.
The flippa ball roster will commence this Sunday 4 March at the Clarence Aquatic Centre. We are still in need of some Year 5 or 6 players so please let me know if your child would like to participate. Coaches are also required. If you are happy to help out in any way, please email me on frhodes@smc.tas.edu.au. Thank you in advance!

Senior School Athletics Carnival
There was plenty of action at the Senior Athletics Carnival on 23 February, with
excellent participation, sporting skill and superb House spirit across all age groups.
Well done to all participants and a special thanks to our staff and volunteers on the day.
