YEAR 11
Leading The Way

Head of Year 11
Tuesday of Week 2 will be the Year 11 Leadership Day, with all Year 11 students expected to attend as part of the normal school program.
The day has been designed to support students in connecting as a cohort, reflecting on their development so far this year, and further understanding their responsibilities as senior students within the College community. Through a range of structured activities, students will engage in leadership development focused on self‑awareness, building positive relationships, and developing the confidence to step beyond their comfort zones.
This is an important component of the Year 11 program and contributes to students’ preparation for leadership and service over the remainder of their time at the College.
We look forward to all students participating in this valuable and enriching day.
During Pastoral Group time in the coming weeks, Year 11 students will reflect on their Term 1 report cards, focusing on strengths, feedback, and goal setting moving forward.
As previously communicated, Parent–Student–Teacher Conversations have been rescheduled and will now take place on Thursday 30 April. These conversations provide an important opportunity for students to engage in meaningful discussion about their learning alongside their parents and teachers.
We look forward to seeing families at these conversations as we continue to work together to support students through the senior years.
During the first week of this term, a number of students required reminders regarding the College’s grooming and presentation expectations.
Students are expected to arrive at school each day in full compliance with the College’s grooming and presentation standards. This includes boys being clean‑shaven, with no facial hair, in line with the College uniform policy, and girls being free from make‑up and wearing discreet jewellery only, also in line with the College uniform policy.
These standards apply during the school day and at all College activities. Students who do not meet grooming requirements may be required to address this during the day.
Thank you for your continued support at home in reinforcing the College’s grooming and presentation expectations.

Please note that all key dates are listed in the College Calendar. This can be accessed via the MyCE Parent App and synced with your personal calendar.
