YEAR 7
Starting Well

Head of Year 7
In keeping with our Year 7 theme of Starting Well Together, Week 2 provides a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to connect with their child’s Pastoral Mentor and subject teachers at the Parent/Student/Teacher conversations on Thursday 30 April, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
These conversations are important in understanding the support required from all to ensure continued student improvement and success.
All conversations will take place in the Hugh O'Brien Centre, and bookings are essential. Please ensure you secure your preferred times with teachers via the Booked system.
As students settle back into their school routines, I would like to share the following reminders to assist you in supporting your students at home:
Diary Signatures – Students are expected to be using their diaries daily to help develop positive habits around organisation and keep track of any homework set. Parents are required to please sign diaries each week, in preparation for checking by the Pastoral Mentor on Tuesdays. Thank you for your support with this.
Lockers – Students have been reminded to ensure they have secured their personal locker with a working lock. Pastoral Mentors have reached out this week to the parents of any students who have not returned to school with a lock to ensure all students are able to secure their personal belongings while at school.

Please note that all key dates are listed in the College Calendar. This can be accessed via the MyCE Parent App and synced with your personal calendar.
